You will love the staff's genuine Aloha spirit. Sit outside and watch the world go by. I saw mainly locals eating here and, for me, that is a litmus test for my top rated vacation spots. It's great to know what I spend goes into a local family's wallet and you'd spend four time as much anywhere else. Great coffee too and right across the street from the Kauai "dirt shirt" shop where you can find your own.

Great local place on the main road through Waimea town on the west side of Kauai, just past the fire station a couple of blocks... near enough so that when a kitten hid in the engine block of our truck (!) the fire department responded almost instantaneously and then patiently fished the little cat out from behind the front bumper. The food is great, the staff is welcoming, after breakfast we waited patiently and then we came back for the hula hula chicken.
Get the bacon cheese burger. Nice staff

Food was delish. There was a bit of a wait for food so it was some chill time. Worth the wait. Loco-moco was wonderful and the burger was yummy. We will be back
Definitely visit this spot! Get the Teri Steak Sandwich - it's succulent, tender, has deep flavor, and it's only $5. I didn't order it, but the kind lady behind the counter told me the Half Katsu Half Teri Steak Plate Lunch Combination would "change my life," and I believe her.
