We are from the SF bay area and have lots of good restaurants; I can say that this was one of the best meals that I have ever had and the service WAS the best ever. Wife and I each got a combo, so we got to try four entrees. We had three different fish dishes and one beef. All were fabulous. Highly recommend this place.
Worth the trip from anywhere in the islands.
Great food. Wonderful service! We brought in our 6 kids which they were awesome about. Pricey, but oh so worth it. We had a girl who wasn’t even our waitress talking to us a lot about our big family and we loved everything about this place. If we ever make it back to Hawaii, we will definitely go back.
Went here for dinner, service was excellent! All the dishes were simple, fresh yet elevated to Michelin levels! Some of the best dishes we have ever had!
Incredible food with authentic local flavors and produce. relaxed atmosphere and incredibly accommodative staff. Surprisingly diverse and high quality wine list.
Likely one of the best eats on The Big Island. Great service (and speedy at that) and excellent food. They also entertain the whole “no gluten/ nuts / vegetarian.........” craziness. Must have a reservation, otherwise no chance of a table. Call ahead to check, I have seen them send multiple parties away. It is priced accordingly, mains are in the 40ties. But compared what you get this is way better bang for the buck than the seaside resort places in terms is of dining experience. Get your seaside sunset dinner in once, and for serious food go to Merriman’s.
