Spectacular views! Also lots of nice snacks available at the stands by the parking lot.
Had such an incredible visit to the canyon, but the top was clouded over so we went back. View was superb!
Waimea Canyon is a great way to spend a day or two. Have lunch at the cafe near the top.
Parking can be an issue here, be prepared to be patient as the turnover is reasonable. We went when the clouds were low and obscuring most views, broken occasionally with a view to the floor of the canyon. Returned later in the day and the clouds had lifted giving us some great views. There was a vendor selling fruit and home cooked snacks, very tasty, but don't rely on food to be available.
Incredibly beautiful! I’ve been to the Grand Canyon and I think this bests even the grandeur of that. Also took a copter ride over and through Waimea and it was absolutely magnificent and breathtaking!
