This restaurant has Definitely deteriorated in quality since many times visited in the past.
We went here for happy hour a big sign out front saying happy hour 3to5 it was 4 pm. Three girls at the reception they say us next to a toddler in a 25%full place I asked you move outside that had many empty tables, the girl had to go check if this was ok. They moved us out outside the menu they eventually brought had no happy hour menu. So we had to move again, the manager then came and tried to say it was out fault we didn't ask for the happy hour at the front desk! she suggested I raised my voice at her ! She was lucky I was in a mellow mood ! I should have reminded her that we were the customers and their guests! We should not have to ask for the menu they advertise outside their door
Phenomenal service thanks to Joann. Friendly, informative, attentive. Mahi mahi tacos were superb but the best part was undoubtedly the fried plantains with coconut pineapple cream. The pulled pork sandwich wad definitely above part as well. Thank you Joann for a wonderful dining experience
Yes—it’s true. This was just an average restaurant serving an average meal. The wait staff seemed harried and ours in particular was rude. First rude waiter we have encountered in all of Hawaii.
Fresh fish was good. Filet—nearly burnt on one side for a medium order. Sadly felt like a meal I could’ve gotten at Outback.
Do yourself a favor—given the prices—. Eat elsewhere in a more worthy venue.
Excellent service, quality and diversity of entrées, and ambiance. The filet was perfectly cooked as requested, there was no issue with substituting vegetable sides. Vegetable side options could stand to be more kid-friendly.
Kitchen didn’t seem able to keep up with serving and coordinating for a Friday evening either. Bread arrived two minutes before entrees. The Friday night “treat” for knowing the TB password on Aloha Friday arrived after entrees. And they didn’t seem to realize there was a food allergy at the table—which had been stipulated to the rude waiter up front.
Excellent drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts! I love the Macadamia Nut Chicken...enough for two and the Peanut Butter Pie with pretzel crust is to die for...even though I was pretty full, I had to have some Our waitress was excellent! This on our last night before going home. Great way to end our trip!
