Wranglers Steakhouse is a diamond in the rough. You walk in to a fantastic smoky BBQ smell. I had some excellent garlic fries. My mother-in-law had the soup and salad bar, which was basic. My wife had an excellent fish sandwich. The building is made up of old logs and wood. It looks like it may blow over in a storm, but I liked this place in a weird way.
Reception was unacceptable. They didn't give us the table we wanted although the place was almost empty. They made us wait 15 minutes to be seated - when they sat us down they told us "we are only serving dinner now" - which is double the price as lunch; had they sat us when we arrived we could've ordered lunch. Restaurant had a bad smell. BBQ ribs were full of fat and felt like they prepared too much in advance. Table was surrounded by flies. Picture of two is attached.
What they had was cooked just as promised and the place was very rustic (cool). We recommend.
Staff was fantastic! Fast, competent and genuine. We did not care for the soup and salad bar selection. Very small and the zucchini soup was oily without much taste. The fillet was cooked as ordered and the cut was lean. The special sauce was optional but we tried. Sauce in our minds detracted from the good cut. Would recommend getting without sauce.
Nice place for lunch, food is very good. Also has tin-tin stacked tin can lunches were are very good. Highly recommend.
Great steaks. Had the filet Mignon and it was fantastic. Would have it again and again. Highly recommended.
