Pricing on the products is decent and on occasion they have some really good prices.
A must visit when on the island! Hawaii is famous for its Mac nuts, so go to Hamakua Mac Nut Factory to try all their different flavors before deciding which ones to bring home as gifts! You can taste Mac nuts, brittle, and their popcorn, as well as taste free Kona coffee. The store is always decorated in a festive way and you can see some of the equipment that they use to manufacture the Mac nuts. Plus, all the employees are really nice and helpful. It's worth the visit to taste everything!
A nice and laid back stop during travels around the island. Go during the week and you can see the production line in action (which is relatively low-tech and has an Island "feel" ).
Eager and helpful staff here. Locally made soaps and lotions that can be bought indvidually or in sets. They sell locally sourced coffees here. They also have quite the selection of flavored macadamia nuts that are sourced from local farmers. They offer shipping if your luggage cant possibly hold one more thing for the flight home.
They're open until 5:30 and have samples galore. Great flavors, try the wasabi and the chili. They also have small 1 oz packs if you still can't decide and they ship anywhere. What's not to love?
Awful food and atmosphere! I ordered ribs, they came covered in a sauce that was ketchup at best. Mashed potatoes were instant and flavorless. I didn't eat my meal. Do not waste your money here. You even have to ask for salt and pepper!
