%100 satisfied...this charming hotel was just perfect. My husband and I came for a visit in March 2017. We were welcomed by a cozy & clean room with all the needed amenities (Bamboo room with an Ocean view) a helpful and kind staff, all in a great central location. We could walk to nearby shops and restaurants (our favourite was the Steakhouse one block away) We would gather supplies for the day at the nearby grocery store and gas station, then hit the road to explore this Beautiful island. We will definitely be back to this hotel. Thanks again for the hospitality.
When the wind kicks up, the whole place rattles. Had to wedge the doors to keep them from rattling. The windows also rattle. The neighbors which are quite close also decided to rev their motorcycles late into the night. The nearest place to have dinner was okay, but overpriced. Lovely place with big suites - super clean and Daphne at the desk was funny and helped us with everything we needed. Best place in this category we stayed at Kaua'i so far. Old and atmospheric house but kept in very good shape.
Sweet touches in the cottage. Walked across a street to a perfect beach and spectacular sunsets.
We loved our stay here for the most part~ 3 nights. Really great old house, clean & simple! We got the "banana suite" room ~ it was the most expensive & the only thing I would say is to stay in any other room ... this one is on the bottom floor with glass doors going into the office ~ does not feel private at all when in one of the rooms (it's a 2 room suite), several times people tried to open the door because it seems like another part of the office ... staying upstairs would have made it a much better stay! The people above us were waking up around 5am every day and we were awoken to an incessant creaking sound for about an hour while they got ready:/ Also it is hot here, of course! And their is a small Ac unit in a window near the bed but no actual AC throughout, so come expecting that! That being said, still give this place 4 stars for just being a cute accommodating place to stay with very friendly staff (Daphne at the front was very helpful & sweet!! ) Thank you!!
