Wow. This place is amazing. Employees are friendly, the resort is relaxed Hawaiian elegance. Food is amazing, rooms are excellent, most with ocean views. The beach is the seller for me. White sand beach with great snorkeling by the rocks. Manta rays come up to feed on the plankton when the restaurant shines the light on the cove they swim in at night. Book early. This place is always popular with generations coming here year after year. Almost impossible to get a room/villa over holiday season.
This place is absolutely amazing! This hotel has the best beach on the entire island! The rooms are beautiful and views are amazing! Even our bathroom had a balcony over looking the ocean with a huge tub. The beach chairs all had umbrellas even with a tiki bar for drinks and food all day! The on site snorkeling was amazing and we even saw a wild sea turtle! Truly a 5 star hotel, so much better than the other Marriott on the island!
Mid century resort style place. We only used pool and facilities, ate at the restaurant but did not stay at the hotel. Nice pool area with a jacuzzi, sun beds and umbrellas. The cabanas are 100$ a day though..... drinks & snacks are also served and are good if not a bit pricey. Staff is very nice. From the pool area it’s a 1min. walk down to the beach. The beach is gorgeous. Sandy, clear water, protected in the bay.
There is a lot to love about this place, but also a few places where it falls short. The staff is amazing. The architecture and art are amazing. The rooms are clean and have beautiful views. However, the drinks in all the restaurants are too expensive, the pillows are all down and offer little support, and you have to order ice from room service. There are no ice machines.
If I could give this hotel 6 stars, I would. My wife and I have stayed at many SPG, Marriott, and Hyatt hotels around the world and this resort is by far the best. Every staff member here deserves AAA+++ grades. Hotel grounds, pool and beach were top notch. Restaurants are reasonably priced and delicious. Our room was clean modern and huge. We spent most of our lazy time on the huge balcony. Thanks for the best vacation ever!!!
