Amazing! Well worth the steep trail, really more of a scramble to the beach and a nice workout going up.

Such a beautiful hike! It took us about half a day. I suggest you eat lunch in your car so you don't have to carry it with you all the way down and then back up again in your stomach. There's not a lot of parking but the view is totally worth it. If you have young or old people with you, perhaps only go half way down. There are still some great views before you reach the bottom.
The forest is so beautiful! We did the white road hike and had a blast! Wonderful views all around!
Beautiful forest. Waipi'o valley was really nice. Hike if you have the time or drive on the small back roads.
