It was the only camping spot left on the island but when we showed up, a local immediately warned us to be careful and watch our car. We spent maybe 45 minutes there- even set up our tent - but then decided to move on. Seemed liked it might get noisy after dark and that we might regret staying there. Not a place I wanted to spend a day of my vacation and risk loosing any valuables or getting a bad night's sleep. $3 per pserson.
People camping all over. Dirty and smelly.
We slept here at the campground. There were people awake most of the night and cars coming and going...you can guess what that means. We and our things were safe though.
Not a save spot for camping, you will share this place with homeless people and drunken locals
Great place to spend the day with friends and family on the west side
