Small but decent & well maintained park. There is a statue of a British Explorer James Cook, known as "Captain Cook" in this park. It is said Cook was the first European person who landed Kauai in 1778. There are many parking space in front of the statue and it's a great stop by on the way to Waimea Canyon. 小さい公園ですが、イギリスの海洋探検家ジェームズ・クック（通称キャプテン・クック）の銅像があります。銅像の前に駐車スペースがありますので、渓谷観光の際には、立ち寄って写真撮影するとよいでしょう。クックは、1778年ヨーロッパ人で初めてハワイ諸島に到達し、ヨーロッパにハワイを紹介したと言われています。
