Very cool. Black sandy beach. I will return to explore it more next year.
Cute little park. Great to take a break from roadtrip. There were lots of scrabbles on the restroom doors please clean them.
The black sand is beautiful and shimmers in the sunlight. The view from the pier is nice, but not extraordinary compared to other places on Kauai. Worth the visit though, especially around sunset, if you're in the area.
I'm used to piers being wooden. This one was not wooden, and so i felt the need to walk on it all over. All the way to the end and back again. The beach around it was the most brown beach i saw in all of Kauai. The pier itself felt safe, but the views weren't really interesting. It was kinda nice in general to walk on a pier i guess, but if you're not in the area, this isn't really worth stopping by. I saw some people fishing there so maybe it's better if you're into that, but I'm not personally into that. The water was pretty brown too. Big contrast from the turquoise water elsewhere surrounding the island.
Healing black sand beach. Very shimmery. We'll visit again.
